Harry potter came out 20 years ago. It’s a series of 7 novels written by a British author J.K Rowling. It’s a story of a young wizard Harry whose mother dies in protecting the infant Harry from the dark lord. As a result of failed murder attempt, harry gets a scar in the shape of a lightning bolt on his forehead.Harry was 11 years old when he got the Hogwarts acceptance letter, and found out he was a wizard. Hagrid come to take him to Hogwarts. On way to Hogwarts he met Hermione and Ron, who became Harry’s friends for life.
There were 4 houses in Hogwarts; Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Harry, Hermoine and Ron secured their place in Gryffindor. Their 7 years in Hogwarts were full of magic and adventure. Harry and Ron were the part of their house Quiditch team too. Quditch was a competitive sport that was played with brooms in Hogwarts. The best part about Hogwarts was, the annual examination always got cancelled. For Millennials like me, Harry Potter wasn’t a book series; it was everything. When harry was enrolled in school, most of us joined school at that time too. We grew up with Harry Potter. It taught us what real friendship is. It taught us to start believing in magic. It taught us that imagination is a good thing, even though its happening in our head, but why on earth means that it is not real.
